This is based around the 6 key areas of learning and is developed throughout KG1 and KG2.

Key Stages 1 & 2 of the English National Curriculum cover the three core subjects of Mathematics, English and Science together with Information Communication Technology (ICT) and the foundation subjects of Geography, History, Design Technology, Art, Music and Physical Education.
Years 3 & 4 – “First Half of Key Stage 2”
Years three and four are the beginning of the four years of learning which make up Key Stage 2. Much of the work in these year groups is ‘cross curricular’, which means that one theme is covered by several subjects.
Years 5 & 6- “Second Half of Key Stage 2”
During the latter part of Key Stage 2, subject teaching becomes more defined, especially in the core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science and ICT. As students enter Year 6 they are prepared for the subject-oriented approach of the Senior School and work towards recongised qualifications – IGCSE/AS Level and A Level.

Years 10 and 11 – the majority of students will follow IGCSSE courses in 9 or 10 subjects after close consultation with parents and staff. Students are encouraged to maintain a broad and balanced curriculum by building upon a core of the following subjects:

Arabic and Islamic Studies
The school offers Arabic and Islamic Studies to students from Year 1.
ArabicYears 1-6 reading, writing, grammar, spelling, memorization
Years 7-13 reading, writing through facts and imagination, functions of language composition and dictation
Islamic StudiesTo enable students to study the Muslim religion and in particular to increase their knowledge of traditions, laws, writings and practices. To recall and translate chosen passages from the Quran and Hadith and identify the sources and principles of the laws, beliefs and practices of the faith.
