Careers education and guidance is a key element of the school's PSHCE programme. It aims to develop the skills of young people so that they are able to make informed decisions about their life. Students will be provided with information about a wide variety of career opportunities.
Formal careers sessions will begin in Year 9 when students make their GCSE course choices. They will have access to Careers information in a wide variety of printed and electronic media. The guidance process will continue as students move into the advanced courses as they begin to select universities for higher education.
